"Horrible incompetent company. You should note that if the reviewer has a Brazilian last name, it has most likely been written by a family member of CM. He sent his brother in law, sister, wife, sister in law to do the work at our home even though they were not licensed. Now I am notice that some of these reviews are written by people with the same last name. Also, be aware of some photos that CM posts. They are cut and paste from elsewhere."

"Hired CM improvement after a purchase of a new home. It was a big project: adding new bathrooms, merging rooms, installing hardwood floors and stairs. My family is amazed how everything came out. It looks a completely different place with high quality finishing."

"Stay away from this company. I absolutely do not recommend hiring CM Improvements under any circumstances. We hired CM Improvements to finish our basement. Cleition Moreira, the owner of the company was hardly on site and hired all unlicensed and unqualified subcontractors who did subpar work. The carpenter who worked on our basement was Mr. Moreira's brother-in-law who did incorrect carpentry cuts on our basement poles and all of the trim in the basement. His subcontracted painter only skipped out on the caulking and as a result all of our baseboards and trim separated from the walls, not to mention that his painter also only did one coat on the edges of the walls, when we contracted for two coats. His spray foam subcontractor did not paint the DC-315 paint over the foam, which is required by law to protect people in the event of a fire. They also took shortcuts and spray foamed over the fiberglass insulation instead of removing it and filling it with spray foam to prevent mold. His electrician completely ignored building code and did not hard wire smoke detectors in our basement. Our newly finished has numerous cracks in the ceiling, walls, and wood work. This company showed a complete disregard for quality workmanship, the safety measures built into building code to protect families, and clearly only cares about money. There a lot of other competence and qualified contractors out there. Learn from our mistake and avoid this company at all costs."
