Life Storage - Waltham

"I rented a unit in late October 2023 for a little more than $300. Within about 4 months it jumped to $400 and now they tell us it will be $500. An increase of more than 60% in 9 months!! Their rep said they will lower it by $50 but that they are full and that's what the market demands so that's the price. I get that companies need to make money but this is too much. To be able to raise the prices this way shows little respect for anything aside from money. You have a choice and stay away. This company knows they can raise the price and the difficulty of moving all of your stuff binds you for a time. As such, BE VERY AWARE and stay away. Only go to a storage company that's general operating procedures aren't in fine print and that are made to strike a fair balance between profits and customer needs. Also, no one working yesterday during normal hours with a sign that said they had staffing problems and very frequent broken doors."

"Place works great. Service is great as well. The only thing is that they increased the price of my unit with out any notice ( I know it is in the contract) but increasing to almost to double... it was not nice. After I presented a claim they gave me a better rate."

"Cleanest storage center I’ve ever seen-and I’ve seen a lot! We visited 3 places in Waltham and this place was by far the most modern (only one of the 3 that, on that day, had a working elevator) and the two employees I’ve spoken with so far have been extremely friendly and helpful-even giving us specific tips about how to save money by locking in certain prices certain days. "Revised review : Julia and Nicole were super stars. They are friendly, professional, and kind. The excellent service we received from Nicole Smith and Julia was awesome. We are moving our daughter things into this location today.. I went to check it out this past Tuesday. Met the kind and thoughtful young lady Nicole Smith. She was nice enough to show me around and I immediately felt comfortable renting a room from them. It's clean and safe. Best of all, easy access as well. We are moving out of our house soon and will need another storage room and will definitely use this location again because of Nicole and Julia. They are both caring and passionate about their positios and it really showed."
