"Officer Rozzi, helped with a bat tonight. Thank you for coming."
"My dog caught a young bird on Sunday 7/24. I thought it had died so I wrapped it gently in a towel and placed it in our woods. The next day it was hopping around in our back yard, but clearly injured (missing an eye; unable to fly). I called Dracut Animal Control on Monday afternoon at about 3; and left a voicemail explaining what had happened. The voicemail said their hours are until 4 PM. Tom called me back at about 4:30; we talked about the situation, and he said he'd like to give the bird a chance, and that he started at 7 on Tuesday so to call him if the bird was still alive. 7:30 AM on Tuesday I called and Tom answered. He was at my house within approximately 15 minutes. He said the bird will most likely not make it, but he carefully collected it and took it with him. It's obvious he takes his job seriously and that he cares. For anyone that complains, please note there is ONE ACO for all of Dracut, and although there may be a time sensitive issue, he can't instantly help everyone at once. Thankful you for helping the bird that we found, even if it is just to put him at peace."
"There was a short time they had no officer. Pt all calls were returned. New excellent FT Officer."
"My dog was just attacked by a dog on no leash, I took my dog to the vet to get checked out Animal Control said they would get right back to me never heard from them since... they didn't ask how my dog was doing they didn't say what happened to the dog that attacked my dog nothing.. If they don't respond to dog attacks or violent dogs not on a leash what the hell do they even do ?! Meanwhile I get a vet bill because of someone else's Irresponsibility."
"More often then not when I call the number, it goes to voicemail. Not super encouraging when dealing with a time sensative issue like an animal in traffic."
