"This walk is wonderful! Vast and beautiful, hilly terrain with lovely pond views. The one downside is that people tend to unleash their dogs here. I personally have a dog who is not very friendly with other dogs, so we walk on leash. We've had a couple encounters with leashless dogs, either walking on the trail with their owner or loose from a nearby neighborhood. I don't want anybody to get hurt. There is a sign when you enter that says to leash your dog but some people choose to ignore it because their dogs are "friendly". It can make for a stressful experience. Other than that I love this place!"
"Great walk..clear /marked paths ..pretty water views."
"Very peaceful walk but would not recommend for young kids. In the fall be prepared with good walking shoes. Rocks and roots covered in leaves and the trail can be muddy. Would recommend for kids 8+ who don’t need hand holding to navigate the rocky trail."
"Nice place to walk the trails, easy to navigate and very peaceful. Can be a little hilly on some of the trails. Which makes a nice workout."
"This is a great park with wooded trails! Wear your hiking boots for these natural trails lined with pine needles, rocks and leaves. Make sure to wear pants to prevent any poison ivy from rubbing on your ankles. There are a few paths to choose from and be mindful of the incline on the way back! If you follow the center path it takes you to a pond lined with lilly Pads, frogs, birds, and dragon flies. It is a bit small and the trails are slightly overgrown, but a great adventure. Enjoy!"
