"Would be cool if the benches were cleaner. But hey, if it works, it works."
"Shaquille is the best employee i’ve ever met on the Lowell to North Station train. Give him a raise. He deserves it."
"I’ve tried to rely on this train so many times in regards to getting anywhere on time. If you use it just expect it to be running behind so take an even earlier train (by like an hour) or find another way into the city. Like many other things involving public transpo in America it’s run down, slow, and in desperate need of repair. Recently the train I was on got stuck because of mechanical failure. They said it would be 5 - 10 minutes. 30 minutes later they came out and said everyone will be at least an hour late. My advice? Buy a car, get stuck in traffic, hurt the environment like everyone else."
"I went on the commuter rail for the first time since Covid began, expecting at least SOME precautions to be taking place. Not only were there NONE at all, the employees that check your tickets WEREN’T MASKED! I saw an employee, right next to me, unmasked, fist bump another passenger, UNMASKED. If you’re going to set rules for Covid, at least make people follow them. No seats were blocked off and a group of people sat next to me UNMASKED. No social distancing rules were put in place. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable. This is unexceptable."
"the trains are great. My only issue comes from the traffic enforcement, particularly in the afternoon giving people a hard time for slowing down to pick somebody up. Flapping their gums while getting paid only stopping to scream "handicap!" at people, while it is not even clearly marked. If there's truly a problem with a 5 second pick up stop on the side, with plenty of room for traffic to pass, the best way to solve it is not to scream at people."
