"I just quit this morning working as a custodian at the Londonderry branch. The culture is terrible. The pickers and forklift operators are irresponsible and work unsafely. I finally quit after a couple of months because the upper management allowed one of their forklift drivers to threaten to assault me and use sexual harassment slurs while doing so. He should have been terminated immediately but after 1 week and 1/2 this person was allowed to keep coming to work and earning money without any punishment. Avoid a job here it is a waste of your time because UNFI does not value their employees."

"Parking available if early but be careful driving thru the town, this place is easy to drive pass. Narrow driveway & UNFI Sign out front hidden by bushes. Enough space to maneuver truck."

"This facility is by appointment, and opens @05:00am. Has a few about Six OVERNIGHT PARKING spaces, the rest are occupied by their company trucks that strat leaving @05:00am. In and out times, pick or delivery are relatively fair compared with majority of UNFI facilities. There is a small SUNOCCO TRUCK STOP EXIT 5 I-93 North, and A ELEVEN SEVEN same EXIT I-93 South bound."

"Appt @5am, got here @4am. Docks are extremely dark. It was full when I got here entire lot. Idk why they insist on scheduling so many trucks around the same time when your u only have 10 docks & staging can fit 8 at best. On top of that They also have 2-3 day cabs parked in the staging area. That was convenient haha. As I’m typing this there are more trucks coming into the lot. There’s a “no blocking the driveway” sign but guess what there’s 2-3 trucks parked on the driveway bc where r we suppose to really go. This is just begging for an accident to happen. Worst part is, there was a line at check in. As soon as they open the doors and started giving the drivers their docks; everybody started moving all at once no patience for one another. Like what do they think is suppose to happen? And then it took me till 6:15am to finally get into my dock bc there was so much going on. People were nice tho. Set up is dumb though"

"Pre-cool your trailer to -10 degrees Fahrenheit before you get here. When I arrived, they gave me a door to back into immediately. Leave your trailer doors CLOSED until they come out to tell you that they are ready to load you up. While I had to wait a while for them to come out and tell me they were ready, at least I could be off-duty or sleeper berth while I waited in the same location. After you back in, you MUST chock your wheel. Bring your driver's license in with you because they will need to make a copy. If you are going to watch them load/unload your truck, you must wear an orange safety vest & work boots, preferably steel-toe. I saw another driver drop his trailer and leave to go to Burger King, to the left at the end of the driveway, but he could have walked there. Also there is an Ocean State Job Lot a bit further, but still within walking distance. Down the driveway and to the left. There's a microwave in the break room."
