"This ferry is extremely expensive and slow from New Bedford to Nantucket, and if you miss the last ferry at 4:30 on a weekday you are screwed!! It cost us $248.36 for 2 people round trip and it included $30 for 24 parking. “No Automobile on the Ferry.. The Hi Speed from Hyannis to Nantucket was less than half price. At $88 for 2 passengers. I highly recommend Hyannis to Nantucket a much better price and the tiny little village is a wonderful experience in Hyannis Port.. Sorry Seastreak it was a bad experience."
"Went here on Monday July 15th 2024 with my parents for a day trip to see Martha's Vineyard, the place where the 1975 movie Jaws was filmed. Can't say about the ticket pricing because my dad works at North River shipyard (Where these and other seastreak boats get fixed) and was able to get free admission and valet parking because of that. Got there early and had coffee and some food at Ground Coffee Company that is nearby. Then we met some of the staff, who was very nice, and pleasant. Easy parking and easy onboarding. Enjoyed the 45 minute boat ride both ways, and the ride was smooth. Liked that the ride was smooth because i have been known to get seasick, but i wasn't at all during both boat rides to and from the vineyard. Seats are comfortable, and one can sit on the top, or the bottom. We unboarded/boarded at Oak Bluffs at the vineyard There are 2 options for parking, one can either park onsite and have them valet it, or park in the parking lot, and take a shuttle to get to the boarding station. Highly suggest to valet the car, as it is then moved to a gated area, where it can be safer. The girl who valeted it was very nice, and even remembered the correct key to give to us when we got back. Valet is also easy, as when one boards the boat, you can just click the link, and your car should be ready when you get back. When we got back, the car was parked outside. Overall enjoyed our trip, and would definitely board a seastreak boat again!"
"Great people/ferry, HORRIBLE LUGGAGE policy. Be prepared to carry ALL bags/suitcases onto and up the stairs aboard despite near EMPTY luggage carts on quiet ferry. Watched even the elderly be turned down for luggage rack, shameful."
"We used this Seastreak location to go to Martha’s Vineyard for the first time and had a good experience! Competitive prices, no extra cost for luggage, well-organized, and they run on time. There’s a bar on board and its a smooth ride. The ferry itself is a little old but I would definitely use this ferry again for any future visits!"
"Best same day pricing available. Easy boarding and unloading. Plenty of space. You can smoke anywhere outside. Inside has comfortable seating also."
