Located conveniently on Ring Road in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, Lot 4 offers a reliable and accessible parking solution for commuters, faculty, and staff. As part of the comprehensive parking facilities at UMass Dartmouth, Lot 4 ensures a seamless parking experience with clearly designated areas for various user groups.

Parking Permits and Availability

Starting August 1, 2024, parking permits will be available for purchase through our online portal. We encourage you to secure your permit before the commencement of the Fall semester to ensure a hassle-free parking experience. Designated Parking Areas

- Ring Road Parking: Reserved for commuters, faculty, and staff with a valid sticker. Residents are not permitted to park on Ring Road except in designated spots adjacent to Lots 13A, 14A, and outside Lots 4 & 5.

- Faculty/Staff Exclusive Lots: Lots 1 and 17 are reserved for faculty and staff use from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM. These lots open for general use with a commuter decal from 3 PM to 11:59 PM on weekdays and all day on weekends.

Special Parking Provisions

- Handicap Parking: Designated spots are available for holders of approved handicap permits.

- Motorcycle Parking: Limited spots are available, and motorcycles must have a valid parking permit. Parking is restricted to designated motorcycle spots or any permitted space in the lot.

Important Notices

During emergencies or special situations, such as construction or severe weather conditions, the University police may temporarily adjust parking regulations. Please adhere to posted signs or onsite instructions during such events.
