"Went to look at a "project Jeep" that was advertised as "needed a rear end". Showed up to check it out, didn't even run when I tried to start it. Checked all the fluids and found a bottle of head gasket fix was poured in the radiator. Also had the wheels swapped from the ones in the for sale ad. That Jeep and this place is junk. Hope this review saves someone else from wasting their time."
"Very odd experience. On one hand, was one of the sleaziest used car salesmen I've ever interacted with. But I still came away almost liking the guy. Over the phone he said that the truck I was interested in ran and drove good. For context, I'm a young guy who works on cars on the side. I arrived to discover that the brakes didn't work and that the engine was misfiring. I asked to take a test drive, he said no, but that I could ride with him as he drove it. When I asked about the misfire he tried to gaslight me and said "put your hand on the intake manifold. Do you feel any vibration? What kind of mechanic are you?". Anyways, eventually he took me for a drive and the engine was stumbling so badly we couldn't even hit 25mph. Knowing he was caught in a lie, he just kind of gave a sheepish grin and didn't make eye contact. But then, out of either remorse or to save face, his demeanor changed from prickly to kind grandpa. He gave me a radio unit out of one of his trucks for half of what I initially had offered him, and then gave me a ride back to the train station in his personal car. Not really sure what to make of the whole thing. I knew it was a cheap truck and that plenty of things would be wrong with it, it was just that he failed to list any of the things wrong with it in the craigslist post, or mention them over the phone, or even acknowledge them to my face when I was there. But in summary- if you're thinking about buying a truck here, go for it, just do your diligence."
