"They rent junk. I had to repair a part while driving on the highway. The vechicle had rot and broken parts. I ordered a 4×4 truck, which was ordered more than month before. This place use be reliable and their vehicles in good shape. I have rented from them for about six years. They also charge me $400.00 for some dog hair on the floor. It doesn't cost 4 hundred to vacuum floor mats. I'm done with this place. I already notified my insurance company to no longer send me there. Once again they use a automated apology to pasifie customers with a issue. Send it off to the local office, wich they have no management. They currently own me $200.00 for parts and repairs. I reached out to the local Dartmouth Ma. branch, but got no where. I talked to a woman on the phone and explained the situation. I have not received any reply back as of yet. I am happy to say that I have used Enterprise car rental twice since hertz did this to me. Their customer service is great and they rent cars that are well maintained, unlike Hertz who give you banged up cars that you have to pull over and fix them and buy parts so you can drive it. They still have not paid me for the repairs. I would stay away from Dartmouth ma. Hertz rental. Horrible customer service. Try Enterprise rentals just up the road from Hertz on Faunce corner rd in Dartmouth Ma. You won't be disappointed. Another great rental from Enterprise on Faunce corner rd in Dartmouth Massachusetts. You won't be disappointed."

"I had a horrible experience using Hertz Car Rental in North Dartmouth! I reserved a vehicle that I was going to use to travel on a family vacation. The reservation was for Saturday morning. We arrived before our scheduled time to be met by absolutely no one! The doors were locked and there was not a single person to be found, other than other unhappy customers dealing with the same problem. The office should have been open until 12 p.m. and I was left with nothing, and I had prepaid a portion of the fee. After speaking with a representative at the corporate office, I was told there was nothing they could do! This was a Saturday so there were not many options, luckily I found enterprise car rentals in fall river to still be open. They got me a car immediately and my vacation was not fully ruined! I was extremely disappointed in this facility."
"Have to say I was very disappointed. Had a reservation made by my insurance company on a Saturday for the following Tuesday. Took the time off work to arrive and be told there were no cars available except an electric vehicle which did me no good as I had nowhere to plug it in. Then I was told to try another Hertz. Instead I cancelled and was well taken care of at Enterprise rental down the road."
"Terrible service. Whoever was working the phone on 4/124/24 9:24 am needs to find another job, I understand being angry at life is something we all go through, but taking your personal emotions out on potential customers (and old customers) is never healthy. I tried to book a tesla or a similiar luxury vehicle, multiple 3rd party sites showed the vehicles available, when I called to ask about something- I was met with a triggered representative who seems to think the cars belong to him “unfortunately, I CANT CONTROL 3rd party sites and I DONT HAVE ANY CARS” as he rushed me to get off the phone- I didnt even get to ask my initial question. But I responded with “you dont have any cars” he says “no. I only have electric” (AS IF THAT IS NOT A CAR?) then I said yeah Im looking for a tesl— he stops me before I can finish to say “I DONT have any teslas” —ok, sorry sir! Didnt mean to anger you. Then I hang up and went on their own website- sure enough the same tesla was there (or similiar aka any electric car wouldve worked for me. But clearly- he didnt want to wor. Maybe he thinks his salary is funded from thin air). When I called again to double check before I enter my debit card- same triggered man answered, more angry this time that I mentioned “oh before I get charged, i just want to double check, ur website is allowing me to book. Can you confirm tha…l” •aghhhga ahhh (deep breathing noises ) UNFORTUNATELY my MANAGER did not do her job and I told her to delete our website and she didnt- I DONT HAVE ANY CARS FOR THIS WEEKEND”…I was waiting for him to bring up the electric car but, i was too scared he would have a temper tantrum on me. I found myself walking on eggshells- luckily, I can live without a car and didnt have to beg this man to take my money. I just politely responded in hopes of softening him up/bettering his mood; “aww thank you so much for your help, I really appreciate yo…..” HANGS UP ABRUPTLY ON ME LOL and fortunately for me, the nice people who genuinely earn their money next door are all also car agencies and have been more than grateful to evolve their business and continues their important and wonderful reputation. Since ya know, nothing kills a business more than its reputation. Even if they spend billions on ads truing to fix it - but not everyone is business minded I guess. Thats why theyre forced to work miserable jobs taking their inner struggles out on people who dont know them."
