"I bought my first car here about a week ago. The process was difficult since I go to school and reside out of the state but with the help of Mikey I was able to get my car registered and driven to me. Mikey and Calvin were well informed of all the cars and which one would be best for me. They took into account our budget and helped get me a car in that budget. Edgar in finances explained everything and helped get us the best deal as well. Mikey was a great salesman and I highly recommend Hyundai route 44!"
"Buyer and Lessee Beware! NO STARS! I leased a vehicle from this dealership in May of this year. 1. They told me that the payoff to Hyundai Finance, for my prior lease, was $300.00 more than it should have been. I find out after I leased another vehicle from them that this was a “purchase option fee”. I did not purchase the vehicle at the end of the lease….the dealership did. They refuse to reimburse me the $300.00 I paid for THEM. They say “Take it up with Hyundai”. 2. The Hyundai USA specs for the new vehicle I leased stated the vehicle was equipped with heated side mirrors, and sales assured me that it did. My vehicle does not have heated side mirrors. The dealership says “Take it up with Hyundai”. 3. I inquired of the Finance Manager, how the “Rent Charge” was calculated and on what amount. He couldn’t tell me. He said all those numbers are calculated by the Hyundai Finance system. He says “Take it up with Hyundai”… I spoke with several people at Hyundai Finance – I wanted an explanation of every charge on the lease and how it was calculated. I was told they didn’t have anyone there that could do that. I took my concerns to Hyundai USA “Consumer Affairs”. I was told that because this dealership is privately owned they can’t do anything about the $300.00, and may not be able to resolve the mirror issue; nor can they address my concern with Hyundai Finance. It is now August and the buck keeps being passed, starting with the dealership. Apparently they want to “earn your business” (part of the sales pitch), but no longer want to keep your business. After 15 years of doing business with this dealership, I am appalled . If they are a privately owned dealership, they have the authority to do whatever they want, and they refuse to make this right. Hyundai USA is not innocent in this either. It was their false advertising of the vehicle to begin with; and Hyundai Finance has no one to explain the calculations on the lease??? Lesson to be learned…if you buy or lease from this dealership, scrutinize your contract before signing, even if it takes 4 hours. I trusted them…my mistake… It does not surprise me that their BBB Rating & Accreditation is an “F”"
