"I have ordered many cakes from this location. To start off if you want a specialized cake you stand in line whatever line for 20 minutes before someone acknowledges you. You have one line going one way then another line going another way. I was told by one person can pay 1/2 for the cake and rest when picked up. Thank goodness I called 2 weeks prior to co-check the order because I was told that cake would need to be paid in full prior to even honoring the order. Then day of pick up: Stood there for like 10-15 minutes while people were ordering coffee and sandwiches. They should definitely have a line for pick-up and paid orders. People should not have to wait to pick up specialized and paid in full orders while someone ordering food. I was there on time as specified when order was placed. Need to get some kind of order. People come in and make up their own way of entering a line. And the staff just takes them and you could be waiting for 1/2 hour already. Then get surprised when you say something. The cake came out as wanted. Looked great. But staff really need to get it together"

"My daughter’s birthday cakes were delicious! Only 3 pieces were left and some took some to go! We were able to get a custom smash cake for our 1 year old and she absolutely loved the banana filling! The other cake was a marble 2 layer cake with whipped cream willing, it was so good! We had to email back and forth a few times to get all the details secured. Everything was done even better than expected. We were so happy with the cakes and service! Thank you to the Braintree Montilio’s team!"

"Got the breakfast pizza definitely not worth $20 I won't even call it a breakfast pizza it's dismal will never order from them again too much money for barely ok food"

"This has to be the most disappointing review I had to type. Montilio’s is my go to place for a quick bite or lunch. I was so excited to show this place to my friend but this is the breakfast bagel he got. Despite being advertised they “cook fresh eggs” this is quite literally decaying food. Will be going to other locations going forward. Staff wasn’t stellar but this is unacceptable."

"I’ve had the pleasure of trying the double chocolate, chocolate chip, pistachio, and corn muffins. Very moist and delicious inside but the perfect crisp crust. The blueberry ring cake is well priced but I would prefer less brown sugar. The layout of the bakery/cafe is very chaotic walking in and being a first time customer, I felt like there was no flow. I felt like I had to rush past the pastry glass because nothings labeled and a line of customers formed behind me. There’s so many pastries and desserts to choose from, it became overwhelming. I felt the staff weren’t a friendly face but they did perform their basic job duties and what’s required of them."
