"I could only explain my criticism of this restaurant based on my experience placing takeout orders as I have not eaten at this restaurant. The food was fine. Nothing to complain about there. The service on the other ✋..... Make sure you are not in a rush. If you order takeout for pickup, it will take an additional 15 to 20 minutes from the supposed time that the order will be finished. From talking to the waitresses they didn't even know how long the order will take if you order online. Based on what the waitresses told me, your take out order is cooked when the kitchen staff can cook your order. So I would imagine it's probably better to just eat there instead of ordering to go. Also don't bother requesting condiments like hot sauce (like Tabasco or Sriracha) because they don't honor them. They won't give it to you. I may edit this review in the future if I decide to dine in at this establishment. (It's probably going to be a while since the service wasn't the greatest for someone ordering to go let alone a tip was added to the TAKEOUT ORDER.)"
"My wife and I have been coming here for years, and have never been disappointed by the food or service. All the staff are exceptional. I wanted to address a recent post where a woman was claiming she was unjustly treated due to her race. I know that there couldn’t be nothing further from the truth. My wife and I are a mixed couple and have always been treated well. If somebody has a personal issue with the waitstaff, it’s simply that a personal issue guaranteed nothing to do with race. Why does it always have to be about race when you disagree with someone. Please always remember to tip your hard-working waitstaff that’s how they make a living."
"Excellent house made hash, fair prices, great service. Ive been here a few times and the food is always great. Ive also ordered takeout through delivery apps and have never had any issues. After my last meal, one of the employees came over with fresh, out of the oven, chocolate chip cookies and gave us a couple. They were so good!"
"Remembering a great experience going to Ashley about 2 years ago, I decided this place would be my only choice when I’m in Braintree. This place has gone downhill. I ordered a gyro breakfast sandwich. I expected a gyro breakfast fusion (cucumber, tomato, onion, tzatziki) with egg and cheese. What I got was some type of frozen flat meat with egg and cheese. That’s not a gyro. My friend owns a sub shop, and he orders the same frozen meat. Wife ordered an artichoke & feta omelet. Some of the stems were not removed, leaving hard bits in the omelet. While the taste was ok, visually it looked unappetizing. The worst was the waffle with ice cream and strawberry my daughter ordered from the menu. After receiving the check, I discovered the breakfast was $10.99 and the strawberry was $1.50 MORE. So deceiving. It’s like ordering a chicken caesar wrap, but the chicken is extra. Additionally, what a way to gouge prices, $12.50 for 1 big waffle, a scoop of ice cream, and some strawberries. The best meal out of the 3 was the easiest to put together, the waffle. Then there was the $1.84 "non cash adjustment" fee that also was not disclosed. I was so frustrated with everything, I didn’t even want to anger myself even more by fighting with the restaurant on the bad food and prices. At no fault of the waitress, I still gave her a 15% tip. I paid in cash to avoid any possibility for anyone to mess with my credit card. I am never returning to this place again. If I could give a zero star. I would."
"It was my first experience of breakfast in Boston, and it turned to be a good one. Nice food a d good customer service. Ms. Claudia ( without C) was very friendly and chef is amazing. Omelet and strawberry lemonade was a good combination. Good work guys."
