"This place is not good, it’s the best! We have two gluten-free people in our family, and Violette is a regular stop for us. They have so many options for dairy-free items as well. Their confections are so good you wouldn’t know they are gluten-free. If you are providing for a group, you really don’t need to get anything different for the gluten-eaters. Yesterday I wandered in and bought a delicious variety of cookies. So many wonderful choices with distinctive flavors and textures. Crunchy chewy nutty chocolatey citrusy fruity. We had a tasting party."
"Can't believe my wedding cake was gluten-free! Our "Zoom cake" (the smallest available size) was adorable and delicious. We had cupcakes as our primary dessert, but wanted an option for a few people (including the groom!) to have a yummy dessert too. I also appreciated that their Zoom cakes don't allow custom decoration, as we were facing decision fatigue. The cake was delicious and I can't wait to come back to the bakery for more gluten-free goods!"
"In all my domestic and international travels, this bakery offers by far a wide variety by far gluten-free with dairy-free and vegan options. My typical experience is only one gluten free bake good offered. I stop in ever time I am traveling through Boston. I finally got to experience the cinnamon roll that is only offered infrequently as a Saturday special. So good, in hindsight I should have purchased a dozen to savor over time. I happened to also pickup a birthday cake, my family could not believe it was gluten-free! Thank you Lee and your team for creating a gluten-free enjoyable experience."
"Blackberry Brie gluten free grilled cheese with homemade butternut squash soup. Utterly delicious combination!!! I’m glad I got food food, as I didn’t enjoy the flourless chocolate cupcake I got. It was so dense and dry. Dipped in milk and left out to warm it got a little better but if that was the only exposure I had to this bakery I would not have thought as highly of it as I do. The food food is superb! Also, the amount of detail that went into the decor and each piece of artwork is noteworthy. So much beauty and love. It was very loud when the kitchen started banging on something (no idea what). It sounded like hammering and my anxiety spiked and I left and at my food ate a park. If the cooks could save any loud noises for when guests are not present that would really help. Not cheap, but I get that ingredients in general aren’t cheap, and the creativity and taste of that soup and sand which have me wanting more! Fully accessible, which I appreciate. Some businesses along this route have one step. This place has a ramp! Also, the bathroom is accessible and there is handicap parking just at the end of the block."
