About the Business
Welcome to the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts (GCFM) Bar! Located at 400 5th Avenue, Waltham, Massachusetts, our unique establishment combines the love of gardening with a vibrant social atmosphere. Under the leadership of Marjorie Dienhart, President for 2023-2025, our theme is "Nurture Nature," reflecting our commitment to fostering a deep connection with the environment.
As a volunteer, non-profit organization, GCFM is proud to unite over 170 clubs and 10,000 gardening enthusiasts. Our mission is to provide education, resources, and networking opportunities to our members. In collaboration with the New England Garden Club and the National Garden Club, we are dedicated to promoting a passion for gardening, floral design, and civic beautification.
At GCFM Bar, we offer a welcoming space where you can relax, enjoy a drink, and engage in meaningful conversations about gardening, conservation, and environmental responsibility. Our bar also serves as a hub for learning about native plants and addressing topics related to our rapidly changing climate.
DID YOU KNOW? The Black-Capped Chickadee (Penthestes atricapillus), also known as the titmouse, tomtit, and dickybird, was adopted as the official State Bird of Massachusetts on March 21, 1941. Join us at GCFM Bar to celebrate this familiar North American bird and many other wonders of nature.
Visit us and be part of a community that nurtures nature while enjoying a delightful social experience. We look forward to welcoming you!
