The Painted Burro - Waltham 99 3rd Avenue, Waltham, MA 02451

"I initially went to Burro Bar in Boston and found out this menu is similar, I assume it's a sister restaurant. I am obssessed with their flavors and the bottomless brunch. I could live off their Papas Bravas!! Although, I went after work and the hostess notified me there are happy hour deals at the bar, with half price apps and $5 tacos. I mean they know how to keep customers returning! We had a bit of miscommunication with the bartender but another member of the staff came over to clarify our order, and spoke volumes to their service. Delicious food all around, the atmostphere is splendid and great for anyone traveling looking for friendly staff and a bar to enjoy. Sitting to eat is also really lovely as they have a warm, inviting decor. This place is so close for me for work that It's also dangerous. I will be a frequent visitor either for brunch or dinner."

"Painted Burro has a colorful atmosphere with great lighting for a day or night out. In my opinion this is a great choice for a date night. The staff was friendly and full of energy. If you like Mexican and enjoy trying new things, this is a spot for you. There is a $25 bottomless brunch option +5% admin fee. This was a great deal since we were able to try many different tacos, appetizers, and entrées. The location is conveniently located close to I95. Very easy parking with plenty of room. Also traveling here is simple with side streets and routes that bypass I95 even during traffic hours. This is a convenient stop traveling in and out of the city. We look forward to trying more things on this menu with a huge variety of meals and drinks options. There also is a decent size bar here. Ending this meal & review with Painted Burro's excellent ice coffee."

"Fantastic, modern Mexican food that is healthy and tastes great. The buffalo cauliflower tacos were the best. Chips are not oily, and salsa is well balanced. Lots of vegetarian options. Great selection of drinks. One star down for service that is slow, and they messed up our order (but didn't charge us for it)"
