"Friendliest rental experience I've ever had with any agency. They confirmed all info a day ahead of time and I was welcomed immediately upon stepping into the office by Sebastien and Frank. They were phenomenal to work with and got me set up right away with a great car. Return was easy and they had me checked out within minutes. This office showed how great customer service can be. I highly recommend them for short or long term rentals."

"I had an accident and needed my car repaired. Since I needed a car while mine was being repaired, I had reserved a car with Hertz. However, Hertz didn't show up, so reluctantly, I contacted my insurance company and switched to Enterprise Rent-A-Car. It was my first time renting a car, and there were some procedures I didn't quite understand, plus I'm not fluent in English like a native speaker because I'm a foreigner. The Enterprise employee who brought the rental car to the repair shop had a very bad attitude. They asked me to sit in the driver's seat after that person got into the passenger seat, and then told me to start the engine. Thinking I was supposed to move the car, I tried to change gears and pressed the accelerator. That's when they yelled at me, "What are you doing!?" I couldn't understand why they shouted without any explanation. Such an attitude is unacceptable towards a customer, or anyone for that matter. The rented car also smelled of marijuana, which might have been because it was a last-minute rental, but it was still unpleasant. Feeling like I might have been at fault, I couldn't protest at that moment. When I got home and told my husband in the evening after work, he said it was unacceptable and called Enterprise to complain. Later, a manager called and I explained that I wanted the car replaced and an apology from that employee. The manager said they would investigate and get back to me. They did replace the car a few days later, but since then, I haven't received any further calls from that manager, nor any explanation of what happened afterwards. I don't think I will rent from Enterprise in Salem ever again. This was one of the worst experiences I've had in recent years."

"Enterprise Salem was fast efficient and easy to work with. The staff at this location were very well customer oriented and processed the paperwork quickly so I can move along throughout my day. I'll be renting from them again when needed"

"Worst rental experience ever. My mother in-law needed a rental due to a car accident. I told them need she needed a Ford Escape or something similar due to a medical condition. First they had a sedan, which she could not get in. They said they would get a compact SUV. The next day they get her the world's smallest SUV and promised they would get her a bigger the next day. It has been over 2 weeks and no phone call. Staff is extremely rude and manager is clueless and ineffective at resolving issues that arise. What a shame. Choose any other location as they were all helpful!"

"Never thought I’d write a favorable review on a rent a car place! But the staff here is better than anywhere I’ve ever been. I am always treated well and get a decent clean car, always ready for me on time. During the Covid pandemic, too. The Enterprise employees seem to like their job and see customers as guests not as challenges. Jonathan is very chill, recently cut me a deal on my vehicle when the one I had ordered was unavailable. He’s like “yeah, that’s not right, let me make this better for you.” Cheers to all at Salem Enterprise, my New England go to for cars!"
