"I was not planning on buying a car at this dealership, as I live almost 65 miles away on the North Shore. However, I found a very unique M 550 online, a car that I did not even know existed, and I called their Customer Info line. Right from that very first contact, I could tell that this dealership takes care in how they treat their customers. I was very pleasantly surprised and impressed with that initial call, enough for me to make that time commitment and effort to go and check out the car. I was even more impressed when I arrived, the gentleman who had helped me on the phone, was waiting for me in the lobby and directed me to one of their sales people. That was a very unusual touch, to have a welcome like that. Right after, the sales person I dealt with, Roger Laferrara, made the buying experience even more pleasant as he was very professional, knowledgeable about the car, and more importantly, answered my questions promptly and as best he could. I did not feel rushed or badgered to do anything; I focused on what I was looking to buy, which is a departure from most car buying experiences. The final step in the purchase, working with the Business Manager, Junior Rodriguez, rounded off the whole experience in a very positive way. He was very gracious with his time and stayed well past their closing to give me any and all the information I asked for, and always was very straightforward. I did not feel like I was being sold something I did not need. Overall, I can’t say enough about how well my experience went, as a first time buyer, at this dealership. The only lament for me is the distance. Otherwise, I would be coming here for service as well, as I happened to meet one of the service managers, and he like the others exuded the exemplary customer service vibe. I would be remiss if I did not give a shout out to the Parts dept., as they also were amazingly efficient in ordering an accessory I wanted, and to Paul the ‘genius’ who went over the car features upon delivery. In summary, if you are looking for a BMW, this is a dealership worth stopping by."
"NEVER again will I be purchasing another vehicle from BMW Norwood. First vehicle I purchased a few years ago, broke down on me on the highway and needed an engine replacement after 2.5 months of having the vehicle. Now this time around, I purchased a 2019 X3. After ONE week of driving the vehicle, I was getting a message on my dash stating “driver assistance reduced” (because they did a horrible job replacing the windshield and “wiring wasn’t put right”, apparently). 4 weeks later, water started pouring in from the passenger side door when I went through a car wash!! My car was in the shop for 5.5 weeks, without any updates until the very last week before I was told my car is almost done. When I received my car back, it was scratched up on the drivers side, my inspection sticker completely ripped up and barely sticking on the windshield, and extremely filthy inside. Called service to complain and supposedly a manager would contact me. I only received a call back from my service advisor, offered me a free, full detail service whenever I’d like to schedule it. I have called twice to schedule the detailing appointment and can’t get a hold of him. Worst people to communicate with and feeling like an absolute joke trying to track people down."
