"I was very disappointed with the outcome. I love the car, but the business side of it was very unsatisfactory. First, I had to wait almost 2 months for title. They promised me a remote starter, which I never got. They promised me that the car would be taken care of, breaks tires and etc. in six months, I had to redo my brace and rotors when I mention these things to them, they completely brush me off and they were very rude , also, I asked if they can do a complete detailing of the car because it smelled like cigarettes when I picked up the car it had a quarter of a tank in the car wasn’t detailed"
"My experience with Dan O’Brien group has been less than ideal. No wonder so many locations have been sold off. I had purchased a vehicle that I had since sold and it still had an extended warranty on. I had called to figure out the steps to get my remaining balance paid out. I had called and called and called 5 times to get it resolved. I left messages and was told someone would call me back and never did. The last time I got in touch with Will Crawford. He told me he would help me and didn’t believe him. To his credit he informed me each step of the way until I got my check. He was the only positive interaction I had during my dealing with this company. I am unsure of his position but he stepped up when the rest of the staff failed to do help. I had wanted to give him credit publicly for helping me out and hopefully management treats him well. He is probably too good for that place anyways. Thank you again Will for your help. I will not be doing any future business with a Dan O’Brien dealership."
"Let me say I absolutely hate the process of buying a car. I ha e always had negative experiences. My experience with Dan O'Brien was nothing but excellent. It started with talking to the online rep answering questions about a Jeep Gladiator I had my eyes on. They set up an appointment effortlessly. When I shed up to my appointment I met the salesman named Ben. Ben was super nice and knowledgeable. He asked me a decent amount of questions but did not try to up sell me. There was no pressure. We took the Jeep for a ride and then he gave me and my wife privacy to discuss. Again no pressure. When we decided it was the one we wanted we met with the financial agent and we bought it. Fast forward a little bit, my insurance company is not Massachusetts based, they had a tough time getting the paperwork squared away. Ben spent countless hours squaring away the insurance and still delivering on the date promised. I highly recommend this dealership. Stop by and ask for Ben!"
"My recent service appointment at Dan O'Brien in Methuen, Mass. was a great experience. My oil change and other services were done very quickly, and my Service Advisor (Jim Anderson) was so friendly (as he always is) and very helpful to. I was even happy and comfortable in the waiting area with free coffee and a snack while I thumbed through a magazine. I even got a free pair of Dan O'Brien sunglasses in my favorite color - orange. Great spare pair to keep in the car for summer. Thanks everyone."
