Tyringham Cobble Trailhead

"Excellent walk/hike through a beautiful meadow...then the woods...to a vista...and along the Appalachian Trail. 2.1 miles on the dot. Perfect for a short Sunday outing. Once back at the parking lot we were blessed to see several Bluebirds. I was so taken by them I forgot to snap a photo of them."

"A popular spot for both locals and tourists. Dogs allowed, but not all areas are fenced or fully secure as this property is simply a preserve owned and maintained by the trustees of reservations, so use at your own risk. It can be quite crowded on weekends especially during the summer months so keep that in mind as well if your dog has a hard time with others. The cobble loop trail connects with the Appalachian Trail as you walk it, allowing you to extend your hike beyond the two mile loop if you so desire."

"It's a great short hike (2 miles), with some relatively easy elevation, vistas, and some forrested trail. During the summer the meadow is peppered with wild flowers. It is quite serene."
