"Came here on a Tuesday to see if there were cat exorcisms. There were not. Stayed for the famous Tuesday night dinner and was having a great time when I got screamed at from across the room. Apparently no cats are allowed in the eating area(I was not savvy of any such signage) and the fact that the cat got scared and run over tables of food did not help the matter. Would have appreciated a heads-up. Meatloaf was tasty."
"I have never had a problem when I have been there for any reason. All these people complaining about services not rendered...they are a CHURCH not a personal secretary or 5 star restaurant. The way i look at things, i am greatful for the services i have received when I needed them."
"I would just like to say that the little old woman who runs your Tuesday dinners and breakfasts is the nastiest person I've ever met in a church! Attended dinner for only the second time tonight. Number one: your church has NO POSTED RULES. Number two: when someone breaks an UNKNOWN rule for the FIRST TIME (rolling a cigarette inside a bookbag) they deserve a RESPECTFUL warning...NOT to get SCREAMED at. Number three: when someone flat owns their mistake and tries to apologise they don't deserve to continue to get SCREAMED at. She wouldn't even let this man say he was sorry, she actually told him to stop talking. Isn't Christianity about forgiveness?!Other churches in the area allow it, it was an honest mistake. She didn't even know she had never warned this person before, she even screamed that she had warned this person before. Interesting when this was a first time thing. A simple "we don't allow that here" would have gone a long way. Also I was under the impression the church belonged to God, not her...she sure likes to yell about it being "hers." I didn't know she was above God. None of us at that table will ever be back. Finally, three people at that table (two veterans) suffer from PTSD. How do you think they react to screaming? Not well. That woman is a false Christian all the way and makes us all look bad. She shouldn't have free reign."
"Very good.helpful staff.thank you so much."
"Terrible. WORTHLESS. I had my mail delivered there when I was living in a shelter. Will (upstairs) refuses to forward my mail and the girls downstairs said to me today she couldn't ( or wouldn't) help me. Shame on you. The Postmaster has instructed you to cross out my old address and write in my new address: 379 East St # 9 Pittsfield, MA 01201. That was over month ago. NOT ONE postal piece was forwarded. No wonder Pearl Street drop-in center has such a terrible reputation. It doesn't look like your church is much better, either."
