"Looking for late night food on my way home from a distant event I found myself pulling into Crown Fried Chicken and Gyros in Lawrence. Having never been here before I was exited about finding fried chicken at this late hour. The gentleman who attended to me, the owner I believe, was quite friendly and helpful. The chicken was most excellent; crispy outside, tender and juicy inside- and flavorful throughout. I learned a little bit about what it means to be “halal” too. The seating area is very small so this may be a place where take-out is preferred. Very much recommended."

"Best delivery I've had in Lawrence. Fluffy pita, flavorful lamb Gyro, a stuffed Jamaican beef and cheese patty, and some nice crispy potatoes. The sauce on the Gyro is delicious and just the right amount. Will be ordering from here monthly from now on."
"Great bowl place. I had the Mixed (chicken and lamb) over rice. The bowl was delicious. It was missing some sauce/yogurt as it was just a little dry (not much though). They did put some sauce/yogurt on top of the meats and salad but not enough in my opinion. Overall a great place especially for people looking for bowls or halal options."
