"PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE COMING HERE. I had been a customer here for over a year ... until now. Her turnaround time was not great, generally a week. Whenever I'd drop off she would ask when I needed, and no matter what I told her, she would just respond back with her normal turnaround time, which again is generally a week. This was always annoying;: If you aren't going to work with your customers on timing, why even ask? Just put up a sign with your turnaround time. Last week was the final straw. I brought in a tux that I needed cleaned and altered by Saturday for an event on Saturday. I went in during the week, told her I needed for Saturday, and she told me it would be done on Saturday. I confirmed this with her THREE times with her before I left, including that it would be ready when she opened at 10 am on Saturday. I came in on Saturday at noon and it wasn't ready. Instead of apologizing, she kept just saying, "Monday, Monday," and I repeatedly had to tell her that wasn't going to work. Then, instead of saying, "I'm so sorry, I'll get this done for you, just give me a few hours," I literally had to argue with her for 10 minutes to get her to agree to fix her mistake that day. Finally, she then said it would be ready at 2 or 3, and I told her I could not wait past three. Around 2:30, she calls to tell me that it won't be ready until 3:30. I told her that wasn't going to work, as I had previously told her I needed it by 3. Again, rather than work with me and apologize, she just kept saying "3:30, 3:30." I had to argue with her another 10 minutes, until she finally agreed to get it done by 3 as she had initially said. I go in at three, now cutting it close on my event and my day now disrupted for having to plan two trips to the dry cleaner. The tux is ready, thank God. But again, no apology whatsoever, and then she asked me to pay her FULL PRICE. Insulted, I laughed and said, "You aren't going to give me a discount for this?" She then responded by cutting down the $53 bill by just THREE DOLLARS to $50. Again, I just laughed, and without any time to argue further, just paid and left. Mistakes happen, and this was a bad one. But the biggest problem was how she handled it. No apologies, no willingness to fix her own mistake, no offered discount for all the trouble, and, when pressed, offered only a trivial discount for my trouble. She put me in a very difficult position, and I had to fight with her like crazy just be able to have something to wear at my event."
