Reviews
"I had 2 income properties painted. From the first time I met with Michael for the Proposal to starting the job with the Supervisor onsite, I was very happy with their clear explanation of what the job would be. They also listened to my expectations and completed the job to those expectations."
"I've been silently (and eventually not so silently) fuming about the paint color and carpet in my house for years - probably a decade; hated the color of the former, and the condition of the latter. Due to covid and my husband's unrelated illness and subsequent passing, and the malaise resulting from all, the house fell from "I'm not a fan of this" to, well, neglect. But I didn't have the stomach to do anything about it, especially given how daunting the task was to actually prep everything for such an endeavor, on top of my myriad not-awesome experiences with contractors, especially the most recent one five years ago. It just felt completely overwhelming. Finally, a couple of months ago, I'd had enough. It was FINALLY time to make a major change so that I could start living in my home again, versus simply existing, keeping everything as it was, for my late husband who was never coming back. Step one was to find the flooring contractor - did that quickly, done and done. (Super happy with them too; my review is out there.) Then, paint. A much bigger job, because floors were bedrooms and a laundry room, while paint was going to be virtually the entire house after 16 years of use and damage. CertaPro was the first company I scheduled with, but the last with whom I actually met. After being a) talked down to by most; b) sold a bill of goods by a fast-talker who said straight up I'd never hear from him again after signing with them ("i'm only here to get your signature; after this you won't hear from me" - points for honesty, i guess?); and c) told by two that they wouldn't use my chosen paint; and d) two others that I (and my son, four cats, and two frogs) would have to move completely out, I finally met with Michael. I never told him this, but I knew within five minutes of meeting him that I'd be going with CertaPro. My vibe was good from the start. Anyway, onto the job itself. I was digging deep both emotionally and financially to complete it, after being burned by other contractors in the past. So it was a leap of faith that I'd be done right by this company - and I was. Alex and Rony are absolute professionals, skilled at their craft, and frankly, just really fun to share space with for eight hours a day over nine days. Although I quickly tired of living in the mess resulting from clearing eight rooms into one so they could work, I looked forward to hearing their knock on my door every morning (not late even once, btw). Not even just to see the project move along, but because I was happy to see THEM. They were genuinely happy at the end of every day when I shared how pleased I was with their progress and with how things were looking; they cleaned up completely at the end of every day, and also told me exactly what to expect the following (which was pretty important since I was also navigating work and cat lockups during the job). I've never actually been a bit wistful that a home project ended until now, but this time I am, due entirely to how awesome those two guys are. I can't say enough about how personable and professional they are, and it should go without saying that I'm absolutely thrilled with the end result, and for their special and thoughtful touches along the way. Also, I should mention, my first day was a crew of four, and one quickly saw an issue I'd tried to explain to every company who quoted beforehand: that my chosen paint wasn't going to cover the existing, true, without a coat of primer. He quickly called in a change order that I immediately approved, which resulted in me getting exactly - and I do mean exactly - what I wanted. So even though I only saw that guy the first day, he saved us all from heartache down the road. So even he (i wish I knew his name) was awesome. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. I've been through it, and for a job this big, even all these words don't express how thrilled I am with how it went from start to finish. And Rony and Alex are on my Christmas list forever."
"Great experience working with Michael, Victor and Carlos. They did solid prep work and got the painting done quickly. They were very open to and worked well with me on change orders. Victor and Carlos had good communication with me and were helpful with advice about decisions during the process. They also did a good job of keeping things as clean and tidy as possible. Would definitely work with them again."
"I inadvertently damaged the drywall of my living room ceiling. I was concerned about achieving a seamless repair, as the ceiling extends into the dining room and kitchen, and I wanted to avoid repainting the entire ceiling. Pablo successfully matched the existing texture. While the initial color match was good, after the ceiling dried, the boundaries between the newly painted area and the existing surface became noticeable. I contacted Michael, the project manager, to inquire about further blending the paint. He responded promptly and personally came back to address the issue by skillfully blending the edges. As a result, my ceiling looks great. I am highly satisfied with the outcome. Also the pricing was quite reasonable. I would definitely use them again."
"My home is my sanctuary, and made even more so knowing that the walls are professionally patched and painted beautifully. While I paint walls often, this project was bigger than I had bandwidth for or desire to do - including a hall, living room, kitchen and family room's ceilings, walls and trim. The estimate was fairly priced and, in the end, worth every penny. I hired CertaPro to paint the interior walls and ceilings of the common areas of our 1956 home in October/November 2023. I've been meaning to write the review since then, but just got to it now five months later. However, in these five months, every time I walk through the house, I'm even more deeply pleased and validated with my decision to hire these professionals to do the job. Asides from the technical skill and the attention to detail, the customer service, professionalism, and overall quality of the experience means that I am more than happy to recognize - with a well-deserved five star rating - the exceptional work of Ronnie, the owner, and the great crew of painters who did such terrific work. One of the painters accidentally cracked a glass light shade, accidents happen - we're all human, after all, but Ronnie handled it promptly, professionally and with grace and humor. Kudos and many thanks to Victor, Carlos and Jorge for their efforts on beautifying my home. I would be very confident in hiring Ronnie and CertaPro Painters for future painting jobs!"
