Located at 820 Casanova Avenue, Monterey, California, DTKWorld is a unique painting studio that embodies the vibrant essence of its founder, Tarray Jackson. Born and raised in the lush landscapes of Savannah-La-Mar, Jamaica, Tarray has always been drawn to the world of art and music, using it as a therapeutic escape from a challenging childhood. Inspired by the exotic tropical rainforests and luminous blue waters of the Caribbean, his work captures the raw beauty of nature and the native flora and fauna of his homeland.

After moving to Chico, California in 2003, Tarray earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Chico University. His exceptional talent has been recognized through features in magazines, art shows, and charitable donations of his paintings. Passionate about giving back, Tarray is in the process of establishing a charity to support underprivileged youth.

Tarray is a master of all artistic mediums, including pastel, acrylic, and oil paints. His work is characterized by rich, velvety surfaces and vibrant hues, created with a confident and bold application. His art transcends traditional canvases, finding expression on shoes, glass, cigar boxes, and more, demonstrating his limitless imagination and innovative spirit.

Residing in Monterey, California, Tarray draws inspiration from the expansive ocean and emerald green forests of Big Sur. His commissioned artwork, music, and clothing line are part of his ever-evolving brand, Dress To Kill, reflecting his philosophy that art is a way of life. As Tarray says, “If I tell you I’m good, probably you will say I'm boasting. But if I tell you I'm not good, you’ll know I'm lying.” At DTKWorld, life truly imitates art.
