"So, they removed the branch from Vons, put this branch here, and reduced the hours to make it more inconvenient?!?!? What in the world??? Thank you to US Bank for failing to provide Saturday hours."
"To whom it may concern, In response to your request for more information regarding my Google review. According to Google timeline we arrived at approximately 12:16pm to the Port Hueneme branch, this is important so you can pull security footage should you decide if that is necessary. I have a bob haircut dyed auburn and my mom is using a red walker. We pull up and I get my mom's walker out of my trunk and after some difficulty getting her over the curb (I still need to renew her handicapped placard; this is kind of important because I have so much on my plate taking care of her and having a full time job.) We enter the bank and after being asked how they can help us I ask to speak to a banker, M.M says he can help us. We came to the bank branch that day to accomplish a few tasks. I need to change my last name due to getting married recently and I also need to be added to my mom's account as she is legally blind and is not able to take care of much on her own these days. I arrived at the counter and started explaining what we came in for. I was explaining the taks we needed to accomplish and as I was doing that I started pulling the relevant documents for both tasks out of a manila folder and my wallet. The marriage certificate and my ID's and my moms ID and debit card. M. walked away and consulted with another employee and came back saying that what we need to do they would need us to make an appointment for that afternoon. He gave me his card and asked us if we could call to make an appointment for later this afternoon. My mom asked if we could make an appointment for 5 minutes from now this request was declined. I packed up my documents in a bit of a huf and said we can't because her appointment could take up to 4 hours and that we only had availability now due to how hard it is to schedule these things. He did not offer to have another associate help us or say anything about waiting for anyone else to help us. The branch was almost empty. There was a elderly lady with a mobility cane for the blind leaving his station. There was an older couple finishing up with a banker at a desk by the front door and there may have been customers arriving after I was told I would need an appointment. I was pissed the bank was almost empty and no one could help us. I don't see why we couldn't have been accommodated. I'm a General Manager in a retail setting and if we have elderly customers I make sure to take extra care to help them with their needs as I understand that it's harder for them to accomplish daily tasks. As we were leaving the bank we saw M leaving the branch presumably for lunch. As someone in management I understand that taking lunch on time is essential. However I fail to see how not attempting to help someone with a disability is less important than that. One of the other 4 (or more employees could have helped.) So I packed up all our documents and left, when I got back to the car I called the US Bank branch closest to my mom's doctor's appointment and I was told we didn't need an appointment. So we rushed over there and were able to accomplish what we needed to do in about 20 minutes. G.R. at the other branch was very nice and helped us take care of our business quickly and easily. Later that day I had to go back to the same branch because my moms card was declined by a DMV kiosk and I had ro use my own CC card to pay. So because I was added to my moms account by G. I was able to get the cash I needed to pay myself back. I had M. again and as I was expressing my dissatisfaction with our encounter earlier that day he did not acknowledge anything or offer any apology or explanation for our earlier encounter, he just acted like I neve met him before. When I brought up earlier that day he simply did not acknowledge that I'd even existed before that moment. So.... overall a one star experience I'm going to post his as my response to your google response. I will edit your associates names"
