Welcome to the Molina Animal Care Center at the Aquarium of the Pacific, where cutting-edge veterinary care meets interactive learning. Located at 100 Aquarium Way, Long Beach, California, our state-of-the-art facility spans 14,000 square feet and is dedicated to the health and well-being of over 11,000 animals, ranging from sea otters to exotic fish.

Opened in 2010 and proudly meeting LEED Platinum standards, the Molina Animal Care Center exemplifies our commitment to environmentally sensitive building practices. Our advanced digital equipment, including the Eklin digital radiography system and high-tech microscopes, ensures quick and efficient diagnosis and treatment, minimizing stress for our animal patients.

Visitors can experience the fascinating world of aquatic veterinary care firsthand. Our facility, located behind Shark Lagoon, features a 1,800-square-foot examination area where guests can observe live procedures, surgeries, and animal examinations through hospital viewing windows. Interactive kiosks provide deeper insights into medical successes and the roles of our dedicated team members.

In collaboration with the Miller Children’s Hospital at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, we offer young patients the unique opportunity to engage with our veterinary staff through live video feeds, fostering curiosity and learning.
