"Wells Fargo ( Aptos branch ) used to be my "home" bank. Nowadays , Wells River Street is my favorite & most visited Site. It can be a little tricky getting into and out of the parking areas. All in All a good place to be. Just a few trips here, (With Google Maps as my guide) and Viola! I do all my banking here, easily. 4"
"1st time here and I must say it will be my last The staff have no personality. Long lines and absolutely the bare minimum accessibility for disabled. Ashley my teller (who was most likely new) had no clue whether or not there was a charge to cash s check (if not a client) even though the person who wrote it has an account Many training deficiencies So glad I don’t have an account there Still very dismal service not much improvement even from prior branches 40 years ago Take heed."
"The absolute worst service I have received from any Bank in my experience. Only had Business checking here for 2 months and have spent hours on the phone trying to resolve numerous banking errors to no avail. I cannot stress this enough, THE WORST business banking from any bank. Switched to Chase and have BofA, neither is perfect, but better by far than the people running Wells Fargo and providing customer service. However, if you enjoy spending hours on the phone, being demeaned and still deal with the issues you started with, please go right ahead."
"First of all, let me say I have been with Wells Fargo 30 years now, and generally they are a pretty good bank. I have had exceptionally good service from some Wells folks, and pretty bad service from others. They do seem to fall flat, however when it comes to notifying customers when something just isn't right with their accounts. At least three times now I have been screwed over by Wells by lack of notification. The other night, I was about to make an online purchase, and I wanted to check my balance before I did. When I logged in, I got a "Your account has been inactivated due to lack of activity and all your assets will be turned over to Unclaimed Property" notice. I had received no letters, emails, or calls about this. Well there is monthly activity. I have three accounts, all linked together and the account that was "frozen" got a monthly transfer / deposit form one of my other accounts. When I called the folks at Wells the next day, I was told "that was due to local banking laws". I contacted the Missouri State Treasurer (which has the Unclaimed Property Division), Attorney General, and State Banking Commissioner and was told "what the bank told you was incorrect and as long as they had your correct, current address, that shouldn't have been an issue". As for as "lack of activity" for some reason an automatic transfer doesn't count. It is supposed to be "a customer initiated activity such as the withdrawal of at least $1 a year". Seems to me this is all just some computer programming / AI issue that needs a little actual, human, oversight. Time to think about moving my assets out of Wells into a small local bank that has that real, personal banker, looking out for your money, feeling. 13 hr update. Just spoke to a wonderful CSR in the Customer Advocacy Department. Upping my review from 1 star to 3 stars and there is still potential to go higher. Maybe I can talk Wells into adding a "There's something unusual in your account, please check it out to see if it is correct" feature (without just freezing the account).. Update 3 weeks later: Just spoke to Shawn in Customer Care. He was extremely helpful. Upgrading my review another star (Wells is still working on a couple of issues.) . . . to be continued (I wish Wells had an easier way to recognize a good Customer Care Associate. They don't seem to send out those follow - up surveys that everyone else does.) Review History: original rating 1 star upgraded to 3 stars 10/29/20 4 stars"
"I can't even give it a one star. I have banked with Wells Fargo over 20 years ago and changed banks. The customer service and vibe in the bank is cold and unpleasant. I had to go into the bank today and make a mortgage payment for a friend that is out of town. There was a problem with the amount of the payment. The teller was trying to be as helpful as he could be. But the manager was absolutely no help and offered no solution and was very rude. I went back to my office and phoned my friend and he said the amount was correct and that he was working with someone to re-format his mortgage loan. So, I went back to the bank and thank god I got a teller who would listen but she went to the manager for help and she offered again NO SOLUTION AND DIDN'T and wasn't even concerned with the new information I had. The teller took it upon herself to look further into the situation and was able to accept the payment. All of the time wasted was not necessary if someone had provided customer service or would have been doing their job. Instead of being RUDE> I do not know the mangers name she was a heavy set latina woman about 50ish."
