"I was so excited to try Crème Bakery and waited in line one Saturday to get baked goods and sandwiches. The woman who appeared to be the owner or manager was very friendly and exhibited excellent customer service and the decor and atmosphere was very nice. Unfortunately, the baguettes used for the sandwiches were extremely hard and inedible. It was a shame because the ingredients were high quality and the taste was very good but the bread was simply too chewy. Our jaws were literally sore afterwards from chewing so much. I’ve eaten my share of baguette sandwiches in France but the bread was never this hard. The baked goods were good but not great and we attributed this to being on the dry side. As an avid baker who goes to great effort to turn out moist desserts, it always perplexes me as to why bakeries leave their baked goods out uncovered all day to dry out. The tops of the chocolate chip muffins were hard and the insides were dense and dry. The cookies were also hard and not moist at all. Perhaps I visited Crème Bakery on an off day and if I’d spent $30-40, I wouldn’t have been as disappointed, but for $80, my expectations were higher and unfortunately not met."
"I go to Creme specifically for their fantastic sourdough loaves, which I, my family and friends just love.. the Kalamata olive, the pecan and cranberry, the rosemary, etc. Every once in awhile I give in to temptation and buy some of the pastries because I know how fresh and delicious they are! The only 4 star for the atmosphere is because the shop is small and can easily get crowded depending on the day and time making it difficult to check out all that's on display before it's your turn to start ordering."
"Only one word can be used to describe the BLAT (bacon lettuce avocada and roasted turkey) sandwich on sourdough bread. That word is "bruh" Every bite of this sandwich brings the bacony goodness into the flavor of the turkey and avocado. 10/10 flavor experience. this place is amazing"
"This is such a cute little shop ! Gives European vibes - it’s cute and quaint and beware they are only open three days a week ! People know this because there’s always a line out the door- the line moved quickly and they have enough workers inside to help keep it moving ! All the pastries and the sandwiches look lovely and inviting once you walk in . We ordered a cappuccino and some croissants - everything was pretty good - not the best I’ve ever had but we still Enjoyed it!"
"This is a quaint and cozy bakery. All the baked goods look beautiful. When you walk in you feel like you are walking into a little shop in Europe. Unfortunately the blueberry muffin and coffee I ordered were disappointing. The muffin tasted more sweet than flavorful, and the drip coffee tasted like diner coffee. While waiting in line, the person in front of me, ordered a pastry based on the sign in front of it. The server corrected them saying it was a different pastry. I noticed the sign was placed slightly out of alignment with the correct pastry. When I pointed this out, I was told it was correct. They weren’t interested in investigating the issue. Other than that the service was good. I probably wouldn’t return on my own, but if a friend wanted to go there, I would be willing to give it another try."
