"Came to get a breaker that I need as washer keeps tripping off so came to Lowe’s and asked for help and waiting a good 20 minutes and no one shows up so went back to front and asked again but still no one showed up so I left and I just see staff hanging out so guess Home Depot will be getting my business"
"We are DIYers and shop after work. This Lowes closes the lumber section in the evenings making it difficult to purchase what we need during the hours we can shop. We are pressed for time and trying to make your purchases efficiently and rapidly, not having direct access to this section of the store is a nuisance. It will be easier to drive a bit further to Home Depot than have to lug large items throughout their store to use the only working door."
"It's Lowe's. Most of the help is pretty good. I wish things were organized more for the efficiency of the customer experience, rather than wandering around looking for something that would intuitively be grouped with like things, but has been, for the stores interest, buried with tiki torches and bird seed."
"This morning I went in looking for some fix a flat . And I wish I would have got his name but he was a short Hispanic guy and before I can ask him my question he had offered his help already and he showed me to the isle where it might possibly be. On the way to the aisle he stops and turns around and tells me 'I'm going to be honest with you ma'am you can go and get your tire repaired or fixed by going to a tire shop for under 20 bucks" and another man also recommended the same thing adding that "it might even be free" .I've got to be honest if people would take their time like these gentlemen did to explain to us women the simplest things like how, where ,and what, it makes a big difference. I'm a happily single mom of 4 children and I would love to be able to just go to Lowe's and explain what's broken or what needs repair and having someone give me the best advice that would benefit me."
"I went in to warranty some craftsman tools. I had some questions about the exchange policy and asked to speak to the manager. The employee “Minerva” told me “ that’s just the way we do it here and if you’re not happy you can always go to another Lowe’s. I asked again (not being rude, just wanting to talk to a manager) and she just continued what she was doing. I asked yet again and said “I’ve asked to speak to the manager several times now and it feels like you’re just ignoring me” She rolls her eyes at me and says she will go find him and be right back. She comes back and tells me she talked to him but he was busy and again tells me I should just go to another Lowe’s. My wife and I went and found the manager and asked if the employee talked to him. The manager said no! To have an employee lie to your face makes me think poorly of Lowe’s in general. The employee was later asked to help us again and she flat out refused! One of the worst experiences ever,. The store was all over the place. We called customer service who told us one thing and then even talked to the manager and the store still did things how they wanted. They literally wasted 3 hours of my life. You couldn’t pay me to go back to this store. Will go to a different location or just warranty my tools directly through craftsman. When those get lost or I need to buy new I might switch to Home Depot or harbor freight brands which is sad since I’ve been buying craftsman since I was in high school."
