"Read the reviews about its noisy environment posted 5~7 years ago. Today, August 2023, it's still NOT a good place to study. Chatters are everywhere. Doors damper at entry don't work, making banging noises as people come and go. No one seems to respect the space for quiet reading. All of the above mentioned can hardly be thought of as white noise. This is one of the worst libraries I have been to! I am very disappointed to have come here. Headphones with active noise cancellation are strongly recommended."
"Great local library with friendly staff and good selection of books and media. Kids' program has good attendance rates so if registration is recommended in the newsletter, I would highly recommend doing so to guarantee a spot. During school days, it gets a bit rowdy with kids from area schools walking over and hanging out until they get picked up. Librarians do a great job of minimizing the disruption, but don't expect to get much quiet time between 3-4pm on school days."

"Such a nice library that is now open for browsing. No indoor seating yet and one hour time limit to browse at the library which is more than enough time. They offer free hold orders so you can order books from other Torrance libraries and they are now open on Saturdays! Make sure to ask for a free curbside craft when you come visit. They offer them throughout the month for children, adults and teens."
