"Got there in the morning. Line was a little long but the staff all helped to get people get in and out quickly. Wanted to make a shoutout to a very good employee there. We had a guy named JEREMY who was wonderful, helpful, happy and provided the best customer service. He made our complicated situation very simple and easy. For all those who say DMV employees aren't very good, you just haven't met Jeremy yet. He made us feel like we were the most important people there and was there to truly help and solve our problems. It probably helps that he seemed like a good devout Christian. So if you're lucky enough you may get him, he is in window #4. He has a shaved head and a beard. And he wears a tag around his neck that said " Bee helpful"."

"At the DMV of San Clemente, it was Tuesday August 20, 2024, time 4:30 pm when my wife and I had to stand on the line of Window # 1 for more than 15 minutes aiming to schedule an appointment for the driving test. When the last customer before us has finished and gone, the lady on the window was very rude with us, she left her desk, turned off her computer and went to the back office to chat with her colleagues while we were left totally ignored and neglected. We never were treated in this unprofessional and rude attitude at any State department before! After that, the gentleman of Window # 2 saw that we've been waiting for so long and ignored, so he called us and helped us very professionally. I wish I had the chance to take that lady's name where I would have mentioned it in my complaint! We believe this lady has to get some training courses in order to learn how to deal with customers respectfully and professionally."

"Our family just moved to CA from CT and we had to register three cars and get three new licenses. Not a small order! We had Veronica at the San Clemente DMV check us in and she was just wonderful! Despite my husband handing her the wrong paperwork and getting flustered, she was patient and extremely helpful and got us to where we needed to be with our paperwork for all six transactions we need. One star removed because the appointment line moves slower than the walk in line, by quite a lot."
