"I am not one to write reviews, but VHD Autobody really went out of their way for my mom and I. A little background: my mom’s van is over 20 years old and has had various issues with it. Her old van holds a lot of sentimental value for our entire family, so we wanted to get it repaired. From the start, Vu and his wife were truly professional and very honest, so we left the van with him. While doing the dent repair, Vu gave me a call and said there was evidence of rodent damage under the hood (made sense because the dash was so lit up). He asked if I wanted to get it repaired, and if so, he would try to find a technician to fix it for us, which I agreed to. A week later, the van was ready – dent repaired, quiet dashboard, van was cleaned, and it ran as good as a 20-year-old Toyota would run… perfectly. The thing is, the story doesn’t even end here. After a few months, my mom’s daily driver had its catalytic converter stolen, so she was stuck with driving the van daily. It still runs perfectly, but one of the door handles broke off. I called up Vu, and he said he would find and replace the handle for my mom. Long story short: Vu really went out of his way for us, and I would not hesitate to recommend VHD Autobody to anyone. Vu and his wife were so pleasant to deal with, and this was by far, the best experience I’ve ever had with a body shop."

"My old ‘06 scion tc sat in the sun too long for many years and the paint started to get damaged on the trunk. Vu was able to get it painted and blended seamlessly with the rest of the car and it looked like new! He even gave me a discount and a car wash on the house! I would recommend 10 out of10!"

"You know what? If you do cash, you will still have carfax record. Thanks god The 1inch gap is newly introduced after replacing bumper. It is said ordered from lexus Fremont. Reaching back to Vu, no more repair and fix. “It is still drive-able why you care?” When I asked copy of invoice, they denied and asked me to take photo by myself. Also he commented “you looks pretty but you are also very picky” in the end. It is so rude to judge one customer like this, especially female customer."

Was recommended to Vu by my mechanic, Tom, at Precise Automotive (also a great mechanic) and Vu took me through the process of dealing with my insurance company and getting them to pay out the full amount, which they were reluctant to do. The car looked great after he was done, brand new! He even detailed the inside! My other vehicle had an issue with the door not closing all the way and he fixed that on the spot in 15 mins, didn't even charge me for it!"

"I've never felt the need to write a review until I had my car repaired recently by Mr. Vu at VHD Autobody in Santa Clara. Mr. Vu is SO skillful and meticulous. He is also incredibly kind and personable; interacting with him from getting a price quote to picking up my repaired car was pleasant. My car had a few damages, and he was able to fix it all (dents, paint chips, bumper detail) promptly and for a really reasonable price. Even the sparkles in the repainted silver are a perfect match to the original paint coating. It honestly looks like a new car from the dealership. Additionally, he fixed and repainted my family's car more than a year ago. He was able to match the paint to the 20-year-old, faded off-white paint color of the car. We drive this car everyday and park it outside, and to this day, there have been no issues with peeling, discoloring, or anything. I highly recommend coming to Mr. Vu for your autobody repair needs.
