"Rad little bike shop ran by Loren and his son. Purchased a S73 R Adv. from them with a seamless transaction. He even sent his son to open the shop early for me because I was in a time crunch! They have a huge selection of Super73’s and other ebike as well as a ton of S73 accessories. Just picked up 2 Grizzly 20”x5” tires that I’ve been searching for forever. "I was solo travelling in the San Diego area and rented an ebike in Oceanside for 2 hours from Blue Dog Ride. Their laid back professional service made it easy to get the safety info and some ideas on where to ride locally. I love to cycle and this experience vastly exceeded my expectations. The ocean views are amazing. The pelicans flying along the wave breaks were super cool. The tide must have been right because there were lots of surfers along the way. The area definitely has a surf vibe to it. Bicycling is mostly away from traffic or on well signed bicycle paths. Bravo to the community. There were lots of place to stop for coffee/wine tasting/food and the bicycle came with a lock. However as someone who still rides pedal bikes, using an ebike was a blast and I covered more ground than I would have on a traditional bike. They had fat tire and regular tire ebikes. I was on the fat tire (road, not knobby) and it had power to spare, even uphill. The end of rental process was easy and the owner and mechanic were interested in how my experience was and how the ebike performed.
