Murf Electric Bikes

"Can't say enough good things about our new ebikes (alpha cargo and higgs cargo) and the experience i had picking them up at Murf HQ in San Clemente. I think his name was Steve, was possibly the nicest and most helpful dude ever ... our bikes have kids seats, front baskets, side steps and ALL the bells and whistles on them which can make for a more difficult time getting them on and off the bike rack (which we also purchased from Murf, the Hollywood Rack) ... but Steve was a pro and walked me through everything step by step. So far the kids are loving the bikes. My daughter was yelling "best day ever!" from the top of her lungs on our ride to the beach yesterday. When I was leaving the beach a guy stopped me and said "that's the best looking ebike I think I've ever seen" ... hahaha, so if that's not an endoresement, I don't know what is. Lastly, the Desert Sand color looks SO good! 99% of the time I go with black ... this time I switched it up and am glad I did."

"Gave these a test drive today and was not impressed at all. It just seems like all the bikes that have a throttle and a pedal assist have an inherent issue. Even if not using the throttle the pedal assist likes to jump way forward on you. Pedal assist only bikes without a throttle work properly. The throttle also on the bike always jerks forward no matter how slowly you’re trying to go forward using the throttle. It’s just poor design."

Purchased 2 more fat murfs recently so friends and family can experience all the fun and joy that comes from cruising anywhere on these great bikes. Had my original bike in for service today. Their service is exceptional. They went through the entire bike and cleaned up and repaired things I hadn't even noticed. Not too many (or any) other companies out there that would do that.
