"Boy was I in for a real surprise this time! Quite the knee slapper if you ask Maggie! Dontcha worry though, Maggie will tell ya an earfull abou-tit dontcha know! We thought this where the LA Subway station was comin down southwards from Downtown Los Angeles likewise. Like I saids, a REAL surprise. Nice fellas here though. Wear comfy shoes and bring a snack!"
"Nov 17th noise complaints: emergency drill alarms shrieking loud, traveled 2 miles away. Verbal msg often distorted. Residents in adjacent leisure world along west end, packed up disabled elderly with meds, to leave the area, as they could not tolerate the hour of noise. Multiple warnings to prepare to evacuate/ leave for higher ground tsunami or active shooter, without saying it was a drill, until an hour later. Residents called SBPD who knew nothing / were not warned. As a LA Co facility on the Orange county boarder drill should have advance notice in LW Weekly newspaper, as your closest neighbors & LA Times- OC edition."
