"A very large 2 story adobe completely restored. The house is furnished, the blacksmith shop is stocked up, the laundry is prepared for work, the storage room is full. Tours of the house and gardens are available. Small gift shop. Lots of parking. Large native plant garden."

"Beautiful old historic rancho dating back to the mid-1800s, with free guided docent tours as well as self-guided tours. Entrance and parking are free. There are donation boxes, but that is optional. The surrounding lovely grounds make for a relaxing walk. It's tucked away behind a golf course in Long Beach and most people don't even know it's there. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and it felt like we had the place to ourselves. Our docent guide, John, was very knowledgeable and fun to talk with. It was a great way to spend a nice afternoon."
