"Lots of parking. The beach is flat, so the walk back from the water isn't too hard on the legs at the end of the visit. It's a south facing beach, so the waves are mild for the dogs. Most people seem to be responsible about controlling their dogs. Great views and photo opportunities."
"The surroundings are quiet and it's the best place to play with your dog. A well-managed, clean beach perfect for dogs to run around and play. Our puppy jumped into the sea for the first time since he was born~ㅋㅋㅋ He's so cute. The best place for walking or cycling, and parking is cheap too."
"This was Sofia's first time here. She absolutely loved it! We also met some other great dog owners while we were there. All in all, great day. They have water for dogs, bathrooms, and we saw street vendors for multiple things. Its paid parking, you can do it on a kiosk there or download the app and do it on your phone."
"We really enjoyed this beach. Our dogs were able to go off leash and run around. We didn’t feel like the beach was dirty at all and played freely in the sand and waves. The veterans memorial pier was a short walk from Rosie’s and downtown Long Beach was clearly visible and scenic. Parking was accessible and affordable. At $8 for the roughly 4 hours we stayed there. Obviously if you don’t like dogs this beach isn’t for you. We had lots of dogs come sniff around where we were sitting and to say hi to our dogs. Not a problem though, because they were all really friendly. I suppose there could potentially be incidents though with unfriendly dogs from time to time. There are also a few restaurants nearby as well so we were able to spend a good amount of time at the beach and still find something quick and accessible afterwards."
