"City needs to take action with corner of Willow and Walnut, not just talk about it. It’s dangerous and they know it, but nothing gets done. To the point of another poster who couldn’t get the city to trim the trees on Junipero, I also had trouble getting the city to remove two dead trees for over a year even after a large piece of one broke off and landed on the sidewalk. Thankfully, I don’t think anyone was standing near it at the time. They finally cut the dead trees down but left two short stumps for people to trip over. They really don’t seem to care about public safety."
"I sent emails and letters asking when the City would trim the trees in Junipero Ave between 19th Ave and 21st Ave. No response in months. There's a very large tree right in front of my house and all of my rose bushes have died to no sunlight. The tree has very large branches touching powerlines and when it's windy I lose power. If one of the branches were to break off it would cause extreme structural damage to the property and it would be inhabitable. Is it too much to ask that someone come take a look? Months later: you clearly see the tree is bearing down on the live wire and at some point it will snap from the pole and could potentially burn down my house!"
