"Back in 1980 when i first came to Long Beach with my brand new husband we needed a church since he was stationed there on his ship. We went to a phone booth and found this church in the phone book. God led us there. We were involved in the AWANA program and got to know some people there such as the Farrs and the Crouches. We loved the people and Pastor! We were only in Long Beach from Aug 1980 to July 1981 when his time in the navy was done. We moved back to upstate New York but i have very fond memories of our church away from home and the friends we made there. God bless you as you carry on the ministry. And thankyou for your ministry to a very young navy family!"
