Welcome to the Central WIC Office, a proud part of the Long Beach Health & Human Services, located at 1133 Rhea Street, Long Beach, California. As a vital health and local government office, we are dedicated to supporting the well-being of our community through the City of Long Beach Nutrition Services Division WIC Program.

Our Platinum WIC Program is designed to provide healthy foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to essential medical and social services. Our compassionate and innovative team is committed to nurturing wellness by promoting and supporting lifelong healthy habits.

Eligibility for the WIC Program is open to any California resident who meets the income guidelines. We proudly serve newly pregnant individuals, military families, working families, migrant families, fathers, foster parents, and legal guardians with eligible children. Participation in the WIC Program is not considered a part of public charge and does not affect immigration status.

Enjoy the convenience and privacy of shopping for your WIC foods with the California WIC card, usable statewide. Our California WIC app helps you check your food benefit balance and locate nearby stores. Additionally, our online education classes offer flexible, web-based nutrition education in several languages, allowing you to learn about healthy living on your own schedule.
