"Recently my family and I honored the last request of our deceased relatives to have their cremains scattered at sea. This was the first experience we had with this type of burial so we carefully researched our options. After hours of comparing burial at sea providers, one person stood out from the rest, Captain Johnnie Lee. Captain Johnnie displayed the kindness, guidance, and compassion that we were looking for to carry out this important duty. Captain Johnnie Lee's calm, dignified manner immediately put us at ease. Although we appreciated Captain Johnnie's thoughtfulness in offering sea bands to anyone in our group who might be prone to motion sickness, he is a skilled captain and we all felt safe and comfortable during the entire trip. We truly appreciated the sensitive and respectful way Captain Johnnie handled our family's cremains. His ceremony of adding colorful rose petals to the basket of cremains, then helping us gently lower the basket into the water, was a touching tribute to our loved ones. Captain Johnnie then circled the ashes and flowers so we could say our final goodbyes. We appreciated the certificate he provided that listed the exact coordinates where our family members were buried. We couldn't have asked for a more memorable service and we truly appreciated the way Captain Johnnie made this difficult task bearable with his sensitivity, expertise, and professionalism.
