"Max is A+. He made a 'house call' and helped me sort out a Series 2 Lambretta build. His advice, guidance, knowledge and patience was immeasurable. I picked up an abandoned project without ever restoring a Lammy (but with several motorcycles under my belt) and he helped me trouble shoot several components I was unfamiliar with. I took notes and videos and we got a LOT done in a few hours. I plan to work with him again in the future. Wish I had met him sooner."
"I bought an un-restored, Italian-market 1965 Lambretta 125 Special from Harmik at the end of 2019. While I had previously owned many motorcycles and even (gasp!) a modern twist-n-go Vespa, this was my first vintage machine. Over the course of the next several months, we completely disassembled the scooter, replaced every cable/wire/worn component, rebuilt the engine and transmission, and reassembled it all with new fasteners. The result is an original-paint scooter with a charming patina, that runs like new. I was invited to be present and participate in as much of the work as possible, and through that experience, I gained a pretty deep understanding of the machine's workings and a lot of confidence in its overall condition. It has performed flawlessly, required nothing but routine maintenance, provided countless hours of fun and entertainment, and opened the door to meeting a bunch of great people. It has been so much more than just a scooter. Whether you are in the market for restoration services or not, the museum is absolutely worth a visit! It has a great collection of scooters and other memorabilia spanning the entire history of Lambretta, from its origins in the late 1940s to the end of Italian production in the early 1970s, and beyond. Five years on, Planet Lambretta remains at the center of what has been a very positive Lambretta ownership experience."
"I've been going to Planet Lambretta for about 4 years now to get maintenance and service on my Series 3. I always get the same result and consistency- quality of work, customer service, and competitive rate. Overall satisfaction from the moment I drop off to when I pick up my scooter. And when necessary, Harmik has arranged to pick up and deliver to my home at times. He's very knowledgeable and always explain in full details the extent of work involve each time. In case of unexpected problem/issue is detected, he informs me right away and discuss options. A visit to the museum side never gets old either, always something new to see. I get to daydream for a few minutes which Lambretta I'm buying next. Highly recommended, give it a visit!!"
"Max is the greatest!! Very kind, knowledgeable & passionate for Lambretta's!! Visit this museum, it's awesome!!"
"I bought a 59 series 1 scooter from Harmik at planet Lambretta. It was a complete nut and bolt restoration. You will not find a person that is as passionate as Harmik is, in regards to the Lambrettas. The price was fair and the turn around time was good. I would recommend Harmik to anyone who is in the market for a Lambretta. Only problem I see, is that he doesn’t work on Vespas… Lol"
