"This is some of the best pizza I've ever had . The people there are wonderful an treat you like family. I love that they sell pizza by the slice . You can miss match every kinda pizza. I think it's pretty sweet tbh ."

"Called to order out. Having never been there we asked how many slices in a whole pizza. The lady told me eight slices. She failed to say that each slice is double the size of a regular pizza and the size of a dinner plate. Never asked me how many people we had. So we had 3 people to feed so ordered 2 pizzas. When we picked up the pizzas we find they are gigantic and would feed 4-5 people. We didn't need 2 of them for 72.00. Then when my daughter paid they had added in a 15% tip without saying anything and she didn't notice it. 10.00 tip for me driving there and picking it up. Then they didn't give her a receipt either. Pizza was good but felt like shady business practices."

"Yummy pizza! I ordered a Grandma slice, for $7.50, and a side of ranch for an additional $.75. It filled me up. I was pleased to have such a tasty, savory meal for under $10!"

"I'm going to drop a star because sometimes we get amazing service staff, but other times folks put us on hold for a few minutes, someone points out phone off hook, and then says they never ever cut pizza in squares (except for the 10 other times I've ordered from them). I asked individual to double check with staff and was told I know who it is and they don't like to. Well, OK. It's not the first time they've just put me on hold and forgotten about the phone either. Delicious new york style pizza that is arguably the best food in Nevada City. Place is very popular so make sure to call on advance. Pepperoni and Sausage toppings were really good and staff was friendly. Yumm"

"Coming from NY, I hold pizza to a pretty high standard… I was blown away by The Pizza Joint. 10/10 would recommend. Margarita was my favorite, but the pepperoni rivals the best of the best."
