"Unfortunately my mother in law got a spinal fusion done on her lower back because she wasn’t able to walk with a lot of pain. So dr shamlou suggested that surgery. It’s been almost 4 years and no positive results on that only more painwhich means the surgery was not a good thing for her. Is sad to see how this dr brings people’s hopes up by telling them you’ll be able to walk soon after the surgery but no that’s was not the story for my suegra. “BIG LAW SUIT FOR YOU DR SHAMLOU”I don’t recommend this place what’s to ever."

"Went in for pre-op for ACL reconstruction surgery yesterday 08/15/2023 and was given the worse treatment I’ve ever received from any doctor. Before this appt I was told by Dr. Shamlou’s assistant that I will be mailed a brace and I needed to bring that brace with me the day of surgery. Come to find out I needed to be fitted for a brace. So I went to human designs to get fitted. While there the gentleman that does the fitting advised me that Dr. Shamlou’s office ordered the wrong brace. The brace they ordered was an ACL brace after the ACL was healed. We them called dr. Shamlou’s office and spoke with Grace who then states after surgery you come home just wearing an ace bandage but you can’t move your leg for two weeks. Then on post op appt they will put a brace on. The gentleman at human designs states he has never provided that particular brace for directly after ACL surgery. So fast forward to pre-op I’m explaining everything to Dr. Shamlou and he immediately cut me off and was yelling “Are you going to let me talk three”, times before I responded. Finally I said maybe I should get a second opinion. At that point he states “surgery is canceled”. He then slams the exam room door and his office door. I have an appt to see another orthopedic surgeon on 08/29/2023. I would rather not allow a provider to do any type of surgery on me with such an inappropriate attitude towards there patients. Oh and btw Dr. Shamlou states the brace I received will be given at the surgery center so his assistant Grace had no clue what she was talking about. My suggestion is that you need to see a different provider so you don’t have to deal with such a bad experience like I. Plus I was never given an option as to what type of graft I felt the most comfortable with. I was just told “you’re getting a cadaver graft”, with no explanation at all!!!!!"

"I had shoulder replacement surgery done by Dr. Shamlou. I chose him because he had good reviews. Since the surgery myvshoulder has continued to hurt. I went to get a second opinion and found out that he did not properly set the implant. This is resulting in chronic pain. Clearly, his reviews were for surgeries of other joints...Not shoulder!. Do not go to this doctor for shoulder replacement. I was fooled by hi easy going manner but ultimately he didn't give 100% and I'm suffering for it."
