"This doctor's office will try to rip you off. They wanted to charge me my 65 dollar copay for an annual physical that is free under preventative care. But of course didn't tell me that until after I made the appointment wasted my time getting there and filling out the paperwork. I filed a complaint with my insurance."

"receptionist does not keep track of pt office visits, they say i havent been seen over a year ago when i have been seen recently. Sometimes they dont find me in their system. waiting time is over an hour long. Dr, Devera i believe to be at an age where he has to retire.I had 4 office visits and all four of them i had to repeat the reason why i am there. all four visits were for the SAME CONCERN. He forgets what he has ordered me for labs , imaging, etc. My file is on his hands and yet he is very forgetful! or his staff doesnt update the chart , regardless, no reason to make a pt feel as if their care isnt important. i didnt like how dismissive he was, and im left with the same concern, he diagnosed with what he asumes i might have , no referrals, no future tests, thats it. i will change doctors for a second opinion, he is too old, very forgetfull, and dismissive."

"As a four-time cancer survivor, I would have hoped Dr. Duvera would have shown more concern for my well being, not that he shouldn’t for any patient. Nine out of ten times I’d go to his office for medical attention, he had a “Too bad, so sad” attitude, and gave my a sheet with a plethora of specialists on it, to call and get my issue resolved. Every other doctor I’ve had in the past, has taken the time to help me make an appointment at the correct facility in question. Dr. Duvera, and the medical team within that office, made me feel as though they didn’t care whether I was helped or not. I am in a severe amount of pain down the entire right side of my body from a thyroidectomy I had in 2016, during which, they had to cut a nerve in my neck to remove cancer. Apparently a muscle or something has been pulled and is creating more severe pain than normal. I went to his office last week, and as per usual he gave me a list of various places I could call. I called two the places twice and was never called back after leaving a message. So, I returned to Dr. Duvera’s office for guidance. I was turned away because his office said they were only accepting children that day. So, I returned the next day. The receptionist stated they were only seeing children until 2, and so I would have to come back. First thing this morning, I called to ask if Dr. Duvera was accepting adult patients today. The receptionist responded, “No, Dr. Duvera is seeing patients at another location today.” Appalled at his lack of availability, appointment or not, I stated I would be looking for another doctor. The representative said, “Ok” and hung up."
