"NEW PATIENTS, LOOK ELSEWHERE: Everyone raving about this doctor might be getting a free something something in exchange for their 5 star review. The receptionist sounds like the lady from monsters Inc. if you are the front of house face everyone is looking at and speaking to…. You gotta look and sound like you want to keep your job lady. I asked some questions about the average wait time for an appointment, as I can’t personally wait 2-3 months for a visit due to my illness requiring constant medical assistance. She said it depends on your insurance. So they prioritize the insurance that they can cash out the highest on. Crazy to admit and even crazier that that’s what this doctor is doing. Maybe in the early years he had great reviews because he had to get a fan base and regular clients started, but clearly now that doesn’t matter. They just care about money."

"Dr. Young is the most down to earth, genuine, kind hearted PCP you will ever have. I’ve been going here since I was a kid. My grandparents used go to him, my parents, myself, and my future kids will too. He doesn’t beat around the bush and gets straight to the point about your health, well being, and wants the best for you. All my life I’ve battled asthma, eczema, and gout. Without him there is no way I would be able to maintain the healthy lifestyle I have today. I’ve had other primary care doctors in the past due to job changes and unfortunately only had HMO and no one is like Dr. Young. Trust me when I say Dr. Young has your best interests always in mind and only wants to help you improve your health. He works in many hospitals in the Long Beach area as well so he not only runs his clinic but attends to others in need. He is definitely a Long Beach Legend for his service in our community. "My brother has numerous major life threatening health issues and he was sent to a nursing facility where Dr Young follows patients there. Out of all the Drs that my brother has seen, i.e. VA doctors (he's a Veteran). Dr Young has been the best in reference to his subject matter expertise/knowledge along with engaging other medical doctors such as Neurologist, Pulmonologist and Cardiologist, and all of this was accomplished in order to ensure my brother was stable and in the best condition. My brother has been in ICU and the Respitory Ward and Dr Young has followed him throughout every aspect. I know my brother is in the best care. I know there is no cure for my brother's condition but I rest well knowing he's in the care of Dr Young. Thank you for all you do, your excellent bed side manners, knowledge and ability to care. "I've been visiting Dr. Young's office since I got to old for my pediatrician. As a person who grew up with family who work in health care and will work in health care in the future, I am proud to have seen Dr. Young practice. For decades he has served his community well, and while I was impatient in my youth over his packed offices and the occasional wait time (especially if my mother or later I signed up as 20+ on the list), it's a testament to the compassion and care he delivers to his patients, along with a dose of positive bedside manner. edit: And I'm going first Friday of the New Year for a checkup!"
