"I like this place. At first I wasn't sure but I do like this place. I told Alison I was growing blackberries and she hooked me up with Michelle and now I'm getting paid to work in the little garden in the back. The money helps I bought a pair of chuck Taylor all star shoes with one check. Also Alison noticed I was interested in science and she is going to take me to long beach city college to check out some classes. Even though I'm interested in science I told her I wanted to learn about psychology so I can learn what makes me and others tick for lack of a better word. For now I'm only interested in enrichment not a career so possibly I can take some science classes too. It's really nice someone sees I have interest and is willing to help me further enjoy them plus help me get paid for one of my hobbies. Michelle is easy to work with and she even offered me to help with beach clean up and I can get paid for that too! Lastly I like working with JoAnn the therapist I haven't been working with her too long but so far I like working with her. I just would like to see her once a week. It's not her fault she just has so many other patients but when I do call she either picks up or calls back soon. She has been really kind and patient with me. Oh yeah and the program director lamanique throws a pizza party ever so often. The time I went we also went bowling. Thanks mhala"
"Thanks for leaving me hanging and spreading false information (: good luck on staying open"
"Never heard of a mental health organization that turns people away that are seeking mental help. Grade F."
"I just want to tell who ever is in charge of this place I don't know if you realize what an amazing woman you got working for you. Her name is Antoinette aka Toni, she's my case worker. She is truly a blessing. If I ask her a question if she doesn't know the answer she always finds out and tells me. She has open the door for my daughter and I to regain a mother and daughter relationship now it's up to me to keep it going. That right there shows me she really cares and enjoys what she is doing. The world needs more case workers like Toni. Sincerely grateful, Mardie Griffin"
"I was very fortunate to receive services here when i abandoned my job that was destroying my very soul. Kathleen McDermott, PMHNP, DNP advocated for my disability benefits, which i was awarded due to the extensive efforts on her behalf. She expressed genuine concern and caring in her interactions with me, and always followed up when i was a frequent no-show for appointments. She is indubitably one of the most sincere, compassionate, and dedicated people i have ever encountered in the mental health field. I would like to say that my entire treatment team was exemplary, and i am especially grateful to each and every one. I would like to throw out a big,"HAaaaa-aaay!!" to everybody there from Tucson, AZ, where the living is momentarily more affordable, but still has a large homeless constituent in need of services."
