"I normally go to a different Kaiser location in the South Bay, but have had great experiences at the Manhattan Beach location so walked in today instead. I was informed that my lab test would require an additional second visit within a couple days, which would be difficult for my work schedule. One of the nurses, Camille, overheard my concerns and suggested an alternative blood draw test that could be taken care of in a single visit. Normally blood draws need to be scheduled ahead of time with your assigned provider, but the staff went ahead and discussed my situation with the doctor on call and got me okay'd to get the blood draw immediately. Thanks so much to Camille and the rest of your hospital staff for explaining the workflow and getting me in today! This Manhattan Beach location feels a lot more home-y than the other, larger Kaiser hospitals in the South Bay. I might have to make it my new home."

"I usually visit a Kaiser facility closer to home but today I scheduled an early lab appointment at this location, and I’m glad I did. Walking in I was greeted by a kind associate that made it easy to check in and take care of my copay. The lab technician was also very kind and made the experience quick and painless. "***Edit 1/23/2024*** The response from Kaiser was quick. I appreciate that wholeheartedly. My new primary care doctor (and their team) has been responsive and helpful, so perhaps we just got off to a rough start. I will continue to be optimistic. _______ I moved from another state. Transferred prescriptions, and then had to fight to get them approved. They filled them once as a 'courtesy.' These are diabetes meds. The meds had brought my A1C down to normal levels, and my weight was slowly dropping. Over two years of positive progress. However the doctor told me that my numbers were fine, so I didn't need medication. Makes no sense, right? My numbers were fine because the medication was working. A mindless drone with a degree just did what a computer told him to do and didn't put any effort. I had to be off my meds for 10 weeks while I filed a grievance, got a response, got a new doctor, and got my meds. The new doc actually talked to me and LISTENED. The icing on the cake... my new doc told me that the previous doc could have made the judgement call if he had only READ THE AUTO GENERATED RESPONSE AND REALIZE IT DIDN"T APPLY TO ME. Remember, for every good doctor, there is one that got C's at a budget university and is content making MD minimum. That's the one I got who set me back 2 years... and my A1C is up and I've gained 20 lbs. The only change was the consistency of my meds (and I got a little older) but my lifestyle is the same. So far, my new doctor is responsive, but I'm on an alternative medication that doesn't seem to be working as well. Let's see just how blatantly Kaiser shows they care about the money generated by the sick rather that keeping people healthy and well."

Kimberly-RN, administered several vaccines with notes of no discomfort to the surprise of others and myself. If you need to still get the vaccine, schedule it here and if Kaiser sees this, give these people a raise!"

"Went into Kaiser Manhattan beach for my 1st dose and today for my 2nd dose of the covid vaccine and it was such a smooth process. From checking in to getting the shot was so quick. You know it was a good shot when you feel almost nothing. Also, have to mention the nurses, Brenda and another woman (didn’t get her name)in the observation room were very attentive and they made you feel like that genuinely care."
