"Dr. Jason Cohen is one of the finest physicians I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been struggling for months with sciatica pain and was originally being treated by Dr. Bradley Spiegel. I’d had some success with him, but he was stepping back from his practice after 30 years and brought in some new doctors. I was assigned to Dr. Jason Cohen. He had some different ideas and through his treatments, alleviated the sciatica pain, but in the process, discovered the additional pain in my hip was coming from the SI joint (sacroiliac). He’s given me had injections to treat that area and it’s gone extremely well. I’m thrilled to be currently pain free!!! Of course it is imperative to have a doctor who has the experience and technical skills to perform what needs to be done, however, to me it’s EQUALLY IMPORTANT to have a doctor who understands what it means to each patient to be treated personally, with care & concern (and even humor), to make the patient feel comfortable. Dr. Cohen EXCELS at this…and it extends to his staff as well. The atmosphere at the surgery center is warm, caring…and for me it was even fun! Dr. Cohen’s attitude from the first meeting seemed to be…”I’m going to get to the bottom of your pain. I’m going to figure this out and help you.” I LOVED that attitude! I would highly recommend Dr. Jason Cohen AND The Thousand Oaks Surgery Center. On a scale of 1-10, I would give him a 20!!!"
